Planet Repair Institute and the Portland Permaculture Meetup are very excited be co-sponsoring an evening with one of the most influential permaculture thinkers of the last decade.
Dave Jacke literally wrote the book(s) on temperate climate permaculture (Edible Forest Gardens Vols. I & II), changing the way thousands of practitioners approach the design and implementation of perennial polycultures in the North America and beyond. Dave’s next work is a greatly anticipated collaboration with Mark Krawczyk (of Keyline Vermont) on Coppice Agroforestry.
In this workshop, Dave will speak to both approaches to regenerative production (Forest Gardens and Coppice Agroforestry), and explain his unique perspectives on how we can create edible environs that also provide fuel, fiber, beauty, and the full spectrum of ecosystem services.
