The Village Building Convergence is a 10-day festival for all things permaculture, natural building, placemaking, and reclamation of the commons. The Planet Repair Institute was the birthplace of the Village Building Convergence, which now in its 12th year has grown to involve nearly 40 sites and projects throughout Portland!
Please join us at anytime between 9am and 4pm from May 26 to June 2nd for lots of fun and learning! We will be offering free workshops throughout the week! See schedule below:)
All Week: (Except Wednesday) Various natural building projects, finishing straw-clay insulation retrofit including interior and exterior plasters, inlaid glass mosaics, aliz paints, and more! Lead by Eva Edleson & Molly Murphy.

Wednesday, May 30: 9am-12pm Mycorestoration workshop with Ja Schindler; 1-5pm Mushroom log inoculation workshop
Thursday, May 31: 10:30-12:30pm Lecture by Beth Wieting, “The Significance of Restoring Habitat for Birds, Bees, & Butterflies” from a Steiner biodynamic perspective, both practical and esoteric.
